Education: Vietnamese students under 50% in foreign-invested schools

A guide to Decree 86/2018 explains that foreign-invested schools in Vietnam (pre-school to high school) may teach approved foreign programmes and that Vietnamese students must be under 50% of enrolment. The guide dates from 2018, so ask schools about later changes. As of 2026-10-30 our directory lists 57 schools in this city (still growing).

Airport transport: bus 109 links the airport with District 1

A Việt Nam News report of 2022-09-13 says bus route 109 runs 05:45-23:40 from Tân Sơn Nhất's international and domestic terminals via Bến Thành Bus Station to 23/9 Park (Saigon Bus Station). Fares were VND 8,000-15,000 at the time; this is a 2022 report, so check current fares and hours.
