About
British International Academy (BIA) is an IB school near Deokpo beach in Geoje, South Gyeongsang. Children from age 2 to the end of high school can follow the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes in one place, and the school is an authorised IB World School. It also offers the French CNED programme and keeps classes small. Outdoor spaces such as a football pitch and basketball court are used a lot in lessons and activities, and there is boarding for students from outside Geoje. Legally it is registered with the Geoje education office as a private hagwon, so recognition of its studies in Korea needs to be checked separately.
