Busan Chinese Primary School is an Overseas Chinese elementary school near Chinatown in Dong-gu, Busan. It is a licensed foreign school with a kindergarten and grades 1-6. Lessons are taught in Chinese, and calligraphy, idiom study and speech contests help pass on Chinese culture. According to the Ministry of Education listing it opened in 1947, and during the Korean War a Chinese middle school from Seoul relocated here and shared the site. It works closely with the Busan Overseas Chinese middle and high school under the same board.
